Each year, The Family Resource Network hosts several special events which enable individuals, families and corporate citizens to help us raise the funds necessary to continue expanding our current service offerings throughout the state.  Special events are a fun way to make a difference right here in New Jersey. Autumn Gala

The Autumn Gala is an annual black-tie event that will transport you to another world. Past guests have been given “Passports to the World”, experienced “Hollywood Magic”, and have ridden “The Tides of Change”.

This event which honors a community leader who has had a strong impact in supporting those with developmental disabilities and chronic illness is one of the most coveted of all FRN awards.

Mardi Gras

The Family Resource Network will be hosting its 6th Annual Mardi Gras Gala on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ. Gus Lebiak, Vice President of Center Store at Foodtown, Inc. will be serving as this year’s Mardi Gras King. The event is set to be an exciting evening bringing the style of Bourbon Street to the city of Morristown with past entertainment including a Dixieland Band, tarot card reader, stilt walkers, caricaturist, jugglers and more. In 2009 the Mardi Gras Celebration netted over $50,000 for The Network and included a Camp NOVA Campership auction that raised an additional $22,250.00 to support Camp NOVA.

North Golf Classic

For thirty three years, the Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey has hosted the annual North Jersey Golf Classic. The 2010 Golf Classic will take place Monday, July 26th at the Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, New Jersey. A round of golf, lunch, dinner and gift bags are just a few of the days highlights. Sponsorships, Foursomes and Tee Signs are available for purchase.

Seaside Soiree

The Seaside Soiree held to benefit Autism Family Services of New Jersey is an event like no other. Taking place on Friday, September 10, 2010 the Soiree is sure to be a memorable evening as guests dine with the ocean as their backdrop at the Ocean Place Resort & Spa in Long Branch, NJ. The evening takes you away to the Caribbean as you sip cocktails and enjoy the gorgeous views, reggae band and tropical dinner which all add to the magic of the event.

Walk for a Brighter Tomorrow

Join The Family Resource Network and its affiliates as we raise awareness and dollars to support existing programs and expansion projects. The walk is a fun filled day for families and friends to walk in support of their loved ones. A casual 5k Walk, entertainment and refreshments will be just a few of the day’s highlights.
